1991
Borislav Nikolov lays the foundations of what will become Boni Holding with the registration of the sole proprietorship Boni Oborot.
1996
Acquisition of the meat processing plants in Velingrad and Pravets. The company evolves into a holding.
1997
Expansion continues with the purchase of the meat processing plants in Karlovo and Lovech.
1999
The Haskovo meat processing plant joins the Group. The company launches its own pig-breeding operations with the acquisition of the Shumen Hybrid Pig Breeding Centre, along with farms in Brestak, Zimen, Krumovo Gradishte and Nikola Kozlevo.
2000
Acquisition of a meat processing plant in Ruse and a feed centre in Burgas.
2007
Completion of a major construction and comprehensive renovation project at the Lovech production complex.
2009
Modernisation of the dry-cured meat and delicatessen production lines at the Karlovo plant.
2011
Opening of a new charcuterie workshop at the Lovech meat processing plant.
2013
Acquisition of pig farms in Levski and Pleven.
2015
The renovated Pleven pig complex begins operations.
2020
A feed plant in Pordim becomes part of Boni Holding.
2021
Commissioning of the group’s first photovoltaic power plant at the Lovech plant.
2021
Modernisation of the high‑tech industrial slaughterhouse in Targovishte.
2022
The modernised Levski pig complex begins operation.
2024
Boni Holding unveils its new visual identity.
