In 2021, we completed a key element of our business model by commissioning the most technologically advanced pig slaughterhouse in Bulgaria. Located in Targovishte, the facility serves as a vital link between livestock farming and meat processing, helping to ensure consistently high-quality standards throughout the production chain.
The main meat-processing centre is located in the town of Lovech. The complex comprises an industrial cutting plant, a sausage production plant, and a facility for packaged meat, minced meat, semi-finished and roasted products. Owing to their close proximity, the three plants in Lovech operate as a highly efficient and integrated production complex.
Functionally, the production units are organised into reception, processing and dispatch areas, each with technologically separated rooms and dedicated refrigerated zones. In line with the latest requirements for the production of safe and high-quality food, a controlled sanitary and hygiene unit has been established for staff.
Our dry-cured products plant in Karlovo is also part of the meat-processing division. The facility is distinguished by its specific microclimate in the production rooms, which imparts a distinctive flavour to its products, including Karlovska Lukanka.
